 Please note Individual treatment prices for honey massage and honey facials are extra. Call to book or schedule a session.

Honey Massage cost is: $45 for a 30-minute session in The Bee Shop lower level treatment room.

Honey facial cost is: $35 for a 20-minute treatment in the Bee Shop either lower level treatment room or unit 1 on 2nd floor of the Bee Shop.

2:00PM to 3PM Pollen Analysis in Honey to Determine its Floral Content Presented by Yann Loranger and Oliver Couto

Discover how the honeybees work with infinitesimally small doses or homeopathy in visiting flowers to gather the essential of which to make their liquid gold, and how through analyzing the pollen in honey, one can determine which flowers they visited so as to be able to name the honey correctly.

This extremely important lecture on the medicinal properties of plants, especially the ones the bees are visiting, will feature a tour of the Bee Shop’s rooftop zodiacal pollinator garden where the medicinal healing properties of plants, herbs and vegetables related to the differential zodiacal signs and their corresponding body parts will be demonstrated.  Presenter Bios

Oliver Couto

Oliver is and urban beekeeper and owner of The Bee Shop. He is one of the Co-Chairs of The Toronto Beekeepers Collective. He was a member of the Pollinator Advisory Committee for the City of Toronto, He is an instructor for the introductory beekeeping courses at the Toronto Botanical Garden and the Kortright Center for Conservation. He is producer of The Sacred Bee film series that gently unites the world’s major faiths through the paradigm of the honeybee.

Yann Loranger

Yann is a rural beekeeper from Roxton Falls, Quebec. He is former president of The Canadian Apitherapy Association and is president of Happy Culture Inc. a bee products company. He has built a Bee Air house and promotes apitherapy, that uses bee products for health.

 

Isabelle Rabbat

 

Isabelle is a Registered Massage Therapist and beekeeper from Quebec. She specializes in honey massage. She also promotes apitherapy and gives conferences on the matter to health practitioners. She is a director of Happy Culture Inc. and resides in Roxton Falls, Quebec with her partner Yann Loranger.

 

Deborah McLaughlin

Deborah (whose name means bee) is a member of The Toronto Beekeeper’s Collective and managerial employee of The Bee Shop. She is an apicosmetic practitioner and an interior designer.

Rosana San Vincente

Rosana is a recently graduated urban agriculturist. She is a valuable volunteer at The Bee Shop who assisted Mr. Couto in organic plant selection and the constructional execution of his first Zodiacal rooftop pollinator garden situated on top of his Bee Shop store.

Ramona Bolton

Ramona is one of the principal directors and founders of the Institute of Traditional Medicine. She is an excellent herbalist and holistic pedagogue

Rosina Sirove

Rosina specializes in European cuisine. She is an Italian / English spiritual book translator who resides in Midland, Ontario.
